NU shareholders and employees who are also registered shareholders will need their investor ID to register. Shareholders can find their investor ID on dividend and dividend reinvestment statements, or by calling the Bank of New York Mellon at 1-800-999-7269.

When you register, you will be asked both to identify an e-mail address to which your materials will be sent and to establish a Personal Identification Number (PIN). After successfully registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

The deadline to register and receive the 2009 NU annual report and 2010 shareholder proxy materials by e-mail was March 14, 2010. But you can still sign up now for e-mail delivery for upcoming years.

Once you sign up for electronic delivery, you will automatically receive the annual report and shareholder proxy materials by e-mail in future years as well. However, you are free to reverse your decision at any time. If electronic delivery fails, you will automatically receive printed copies of the annual report and proxy materials.

You will incur no cost by participating in this program. However, accessing your NU materials from your home may result in charges to you from your Internet service provider and/or the phone company.
