NU shareholders will need their account number to register. Shareholders can find their account number on dividend and dividend reinvestment statements or by calling BNY Mellon at 1-800-999-7269.

When you register, you will be asked both to identify an e-mail address to which your materials will be sent and to establish a Personal Identification Number (PIN). After successfully registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

The deadline to register and receive the 2007 NU annual report and 2008 shareholder proxy materials by e-mail is March 13, 2008.

Once you sign up for electronic delivery, you will automatically receive the annual report and shareholder proxy materials by e-mail in future years as well. However, you are free to reverse your decision at any time. If electronic delivery fails, you will automatically receive printed copies of the annual report and proxy materials.

You will incur no cost by participating in this program. However, accessing your NU materials from your home may result in charges to you from your Internet service provider and/or the phone company.

For every registered shareholder who switches to e-delivery, NU will make a $5 donation to The American Chestnut Foundation, an organization devoted to restoring the American chestnut tree.
